But it has now been revealed through the appearing of our saviour, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.(2 Timothy 1:10).
The study topic for the day was, “The Saviour”. The study showed the church of God that, the main concept of salvation is the process through which man is saved from eternal damnation and reconciled to God. Man has been depraved since time could allow and it is only fitting that someone lifts him up from the pit in which he has fallen. This need is however met in Christ Jesus because of His deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, resurrection and ascension.
The study topic explained who a saviour was and why each and every individual needs a saviour. The study revealed that there were certain attributes of the Christ that made Him our saviour. A personality who was fully man and fully God, born of a virgin and constantly interceding for His bride.
Though a human, He never once sinned and has become our perfect example. The church was admonished to accept that salvation can be found in no other man than our perfect example, Jesus Christ.
