Welcome to personality show where we bring your way great people of God, as part of our duties we bring to you a wonderful gentleman from Evangelism committee. Please relax, read and enjoy what he has to share with us.

PC: Please tell us something brief about yourself?

Personality: Okay my name is Shabil Vincent a final year Biological Science student. I come from a family of four of which am the last born. I’m from Bolgatanga in the Upper East region but staying in Accra and on campus here I reside at the SRC hostel. I had my primary and JHS education at confidence international school in Accra then later went to St Johns Grammar Senior high also in Accra then finally in KNUST.

PC: How was life back in Senior High School?

Personality: Well life in high school was quite cool. I will say it was a mix feeling even though I was a day student, life on campus was cool.

PC: What do you have to say about KNUST?

Personality: I will say, KNUST is a very good school. It was actually my dream school and it has built me spiritually as result of PENSA. Most people say it is a school of spiritual training aside it academic work and indeed it’s true.

PC: How do you see PENSA-KNUST?

Personality: PENSA-KNUST is a wonderful denomination and also a big family. I just like the members. And also everything about the denomination is revival which helps to strengthen my growth in Christ.

PC: How do you understand this year’s theme and focus that is “Growing into Christ” and “Excelling in the knowledge of Him”?

Personality: Personally, I really love this year’s theme and focus, because, just as normal human beings we do grow each and every day, as Christian is a necessity for us to also grow in Christ. This is because, when we grow in Christ, certain things which are contrary to the word we wouldn’t wait for someone to tell us to stop but through are growth in Christ we would stop automatically and by so doing we will excel in Him as well.

PC: Are you born again Christian?

Personality: Yes. I started attending Sunday school at the early stages of my life but I truly gave my life to Christ in the year 2008 that was back in Junior high school and thank God for that even though my parents weren’t Christians.

PC: Has there been any transformation after giving your life to Christ?

Personality: Yes, because looking at my friends I begun life with, the type of lifestyles they have engaged themselves in, I would have been definitely one of them. Some are smoking, drinking alcohol and so many social activities. So I really thank God for that.

PC: Why did you decide to join the Evangelism Committee and not any other?

Personality: Well, I want the gospel to reach everyone because. There are some people who have not yet heard about Jesus Christ so I want to reach such people.

PC: Others say, “All die be die, “Don’t give up” and so many others. Do you also have any walk word?

Personality: Yes. “They that trust in the lord shall renew their strength”. The reason is that, in this life, there are a lot of ups and downs and if you’re not determined, you will fall back. Meanwhile when you trust in the lord that He can do all things then you will keep moving.

PC: Who is your favorite bible character?

Personality: Joseph. He was able to stand firm in his decision, in that no one was able to influence him. So the character of Joseph really inspires me to always stand firm and consistent in my decisions

PC: Do you have any favorite bible verse?

Personality: Psalm 45 verse 7 from NIV “You love righteousness and hate wickedness therefore God, your God has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy”. So as a believer you need to hate wickedness because you can’t love both. We must living righteousness so that God will bless us.

PC: Are you going out(have you grabbed)?

Personality: No please am not ready yet. I’ve tried one and I failed so I have decided to wait for the right time.

PC: What are some of the qualities you would like to see in your future spouse?

Personality: First of all, I want a God fearing woman and also a beautiful one of course.

PC: What is your take on grabbing in the church?

Personality: I believe there is nothing wrong with it, but what goes on during the dating period is the issue. So I want to edge all believers not to do what married couples do in their dating but should wait when they get married.

PC: Can you identify one thing that is causing harm to the youth of today?

Personality: I believe is technology especially social media. Christian youth today have really devoted themselves to technology more than God. So I want to advise us all to limit the usage, we should also remember we are youth now before is too late.

PC: What would you prefer to see changed in PENSA-KNUST?

Personality: With regards to our song ministration, I think we should sing more of our English songs rather than the local ones since we all speak English.

PC: What has been your happiest moment in life?

Personality: My happiest moment was when I gained admission to KNUST. I was very happy because KNUST was actually my dream tertiary school aside that, I was also one of the few in my school who got admission to school.

PC: Do you mind sharing with us your saddest moment.

Personality: Hmmm, that was when I lost my father. In fact, that day I was very sad and it was very difficult for me.

PC: What do you have to say about Christianity and fashion?

Personality: Fashion isn’t a bad thing, but when we substitute fashion for the love of God which means when we dress to please people but not God. And the bible even made me understand that we shouldn’t love the world. So my advice to my fellow Christians is that, they should dress to please God but not fellow humans

PC: What is your most favorite sporting activity?

Personality: Am a fun of football but I don’t play I only watch.

PC: Please do you have any testimony to share with us?

Personality: Yeah I have a lot of them but I will share one. This happened when we had to relocate from our previous rented house to a new place that was from Mataheko to Ofanko all in Accra. All arrangements were made for us to move out, the next day one of my uncles had to go and look at the building, unfornately for us, he said we shouldn’t go to that house and surprisingly, he didn’t give us any reason. Finally, we agreed to that and we went to search for another house to rent. Exactly after a week we heard the house we initially wanted to rent, before we were stopped by our uncle got burnt. When we heard that, we then ask our uncle whether that was the reason why stopped us. But he said he didn’t even know just that something told him that we shouldn’t stay in that house. Supposing we had moved into that house you can imagine, we would have lost a whole lot. So I thank God very much for delivering us from that situation.

PC: Where do you see yourself in five years to come?

Personality: I see myself to be one of the greatest legal business CEO in Ghana.

PC: What do you think friends don’t know about you?

PC: What is your vision and mission in life?

Personality: my mission in life is to do the work of God that is to spread the gospel to others and my vision is that, I want to be someone whom a lot of people will look up to especially within my locality.

PC: Where or whom do you take your inspirations from.

Personality: I take my inspirations from Bishop Dag Heward Mills since I want to be an Evangelist I always take a lot of inspiration from him.
