I’m Manu Esther Amankwah. I’m the second child of a family of 5 with my parents inclusive. I was born on 2nd January 1998. I come from Bekwai but I reside at Kentikrono. I’m not the shy type but I am very emotional. I love to smile a lot. I always want people around me to feel good and I like closeness as well. I’m one who loves God so much; he’s my world.
Brief us on your educational background.
I went to a government school, Kentinkrono M/A Basic School, where I had my basic education. St Louis SHS is my alma mater, there, I offered general arts. I am now in KNUST. I was the protestant community evangelism president and the PENSA Prayer Secretary during the time I was in St. Louis
What can you say about your programme of study?
Actuarial Science, a programme that demands a lot of respect. Though it’s not an easy course. I didn’t know anything about the course initially. I expected a very difficult course, though it hasn’t been very easy. I just have to keep myself abreast with it.
I didn’t want to come to KNUST, I loved the University of Ghana but I realized it was the will of God for me to be in KNUST, so I came.
Describe your experience in KNUST.
One thing I heard back home was that KNUST was a place for spiritual training, and even though that is very true, KNUST is a place where academic work is not taken for granted at all.
PENSA-KNUST is a wonderful family where we see togetherness.
What can you say about the structure of PENSA-KNUST?
The committees have a wonderful structure where we are able to check up on each other. I like the fact that ladies are given opportunities to have executive positions and the Ladies Wing as well.
Which committee do you belong to?

What is your take on this year’s theme and focus?
Walking in the will of God: in that the best place you can ever be is in the will of God. Abounding in good works: God has predestined us to walk in good works, so it’s good that PENSA has brought about this theme and focus.
