Please can you tell us who you are?
I’m Baah Charles, born on the 26th day of January somewhere in the 90s. I’m from a family of seven children and I’m the eldest. I come from Kade, the District Capital of Kwaebibirem in the Eastern Region of Ghana. I’m offering BSc. Development Planning and I’m in my final year. I completed Kade Senior High/Technical School in the year 2013.
How did SHS life treat you?
Life in SHS wasn’t that easy at all but it has all been by the grace of God.
What can you say about your programme of study?
Planning is planning. Everything on this earth was planned because even God himself is a planner. Planning is done every time, everywhere. The ultimate aim of planning is to get problems solved and that leads to development. So you see, we plan to develop.
How did you end up in KNUST?
I can say it’s because of the program I wanted to pursue that caused me to end up being here.
How do you see campus life?
I see life on campus to be of two folds, that’s the Christian life and “worldly” life. And it’s almost the same everywhere.
How would you describe PENSA-KNUST?
PENSA-KNUST is more than a family.
What can you say about the structure of PENSA-KNUST?
I think the structure is good because it suits everyone and avoids discrimination from what I have seen
Which committee do you belong to?
I’m in the Ushering Committee and very proud of that
What is your take on this year’s theme and focus?
Tracking back PENSA Themes show a clear consistency with which I think there is something left untouched that we need to draw our attention to. Also as Christians we shouldn’t bear the name Christians for bearing sake but there must be some good works attached to the name we bear and this is achieved by availing ourselves to be used by God.
What is your favourite Bible verse?
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me
Who is your favourite Bible character?
Which sporting activity do you enjoy? And any additional hobbies?
Soccer and I enjoy watching movies too
What is your vision and mission in life?
To be a great person and an entrepreneur. My mission is to be an agent of change in Christianity.
How did you become born again?
Through teachings and rededication of my life to Christ
Where do you want to see yourself in the next five years?
A great businessman who travels across many countries
Are you in a relationship? Have you grabbed, are you grabbed or you’re grabbing?
No. I’m not grabbed
What then are the qualities you would want in your future spouse?
She must be beautiful, faithful, hardworking and prayerful
What keeps you moving in life and as a Christian as well?
My family keeps me moving and when I’m down hearted, I place my hand on my chest and say to myself “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Please do you have any testimony to share with us?
I lost my father when I was 9yrs and since I wasn’t into christianity I thought all hope was lost. I have struggled in this life. For this educational ladder every level that I reach I have to pay half of my fees myself and where the money comes from I can’t think far, but since I met Christ everything has been perfect and He has brought me this far, final Year( semester 7/8) Glory be to God. For my life if I am to tell you we won’t leave here.
What has been your happiest day in life?
Every day is a happy day for me so far as I’m alive.
And your saddest day?
When my father was in the casket and was about to be burried, it wasn’t easy that day(2nd June, 2003)
Any advice for the youth?
Work hard, be faithful in all doings, believe in God and Success will chase you
What change do you want to see in PENSA- KNUST?
I’m cool with the administration for now

I thank God for my life, my family and His Church
