Who is behind Mr. Bernard?
I am Baah Bernard, a first year student offering Business Administration. I am an affiliate of Queens Hall who completed Osei Tutu Senior High School Akropong. 9th September 1997 was when I was born, the last of two siblings. I reside at Suame with both parents. People think I’m very sociable and humble. I think I am an introvert. I have sympathy for people.
Share with us your experience in the second cycle institution
Back in SHS I was the PENSA Financial Secretary in the 2015/2016 Academic Year, where I learnt about how the financial sector of the church is taken care of. Life wasn’t easy in Osei Tutu, this was because of the perception people had about the school. The school helped me discover my potentials.
I had the interest of coming to KNUST because I heard the business school of KNUST was one of the very best schools in Ghana.
Mr. Bernard, kindly tell us about Business Administration.
Business Administration has several departments which include Marketing and Corporate and International Business, Human Resource Management and Management and finally Hospitality and Tourism Management among others. I chose to pursue Supply Chain Management and Information Systems which teaches the principles involved in transferring goods from warehouse to other procurement sectors.
How has campus been in first year?
The environment, at first sight, was not favorable for me. It seemed to be a bit different and difficult for me, but with time I became used to the system.
What is your take on the structure of PENSA-KNUST?
PENSA-KNUST is a very nice place to be. The way the committee systems are organized helps the members of the church to fully participate in the church’s activities. Thus no one will enjoy the love in the church if you do not belong to any of these committees.
Amongst all the committees, why Ushering Committee?
I joined the Ushering Committee because I love to serve in the church.
What is your take on this year’s theme and focus?
Walking In the Will of God: Christianity has become rampant in the world. Thus, walking in the will of God is a step to be taken by every Christian to be rewarded in the Heavens. In order to separate yourself from those of the world, you need to walk diligently in the will of God.
Abounding in Good Works: It is the responsibility of every Christian to abound in good works. This is not solely because one needs to be rewarded with crowns in Heaven but to let the light of God shine to glorify Him.

Are you in a relationship?
What is your take on dating on campus?
Dating on campus has advantages and disadvantages. It tends to help some people better their lives and also worsens the lives of others. I think dating on campus is good when both parties are spiritually grounded.
