PC: Please give a brief introduction of yourself?

Personality: My name is Akwatey Abigail a final year student of Political Science. 23 years of age. I’m from a family of five including my parents. I had my basic education at Bright Future Academy at Accra Odorkor precisely. Then furthered on to Tema Senior High popularly known as TEMSCO then finally found myself in KNUST.

PC: How was life back in high school?

Personality: Life was cool for me, because personally, I was the reserved type and obedient as well. But if I’m given the opportunity to go back to high school, I will actually go back to TEMASCO.

Personality: I wanted a change of environment, because I have been in Accra all my life . Being in KNUST for the past three years, I haven’t regretted at all.

PC: What do you have to say about PENSA-KNUST?

Personality: For me PENSA-KNUST is a big family all together. It has also helped me build my spiritual life

PC:  Talking about PENSA-KNUST being a big family, which of the committees do you belong to?

Personality: Bible study. I chose bible study because I want to acquire more knowledge and insight about the word of God in order not to be deceived.

PC: What is your take on the PENSA-KNUST theme and Focus for this year?

Personality: I believe as a Christian, you should be able to stand firm in Christ and trust him as well and with that I believe you will perfect holiness.

PC: Can you share with us your favorite bible verse?

Personality: James 3:13. I like this particular verse because, it shapes my life, in the sense that, it prevents me from leaving a double life.

PC: So then who is your favorite bible character?

Personality: Jesus Christ because he is perfect.

PC: Do you have any walk word?

Personality: When a door is closed, somewhere a window will opened. I believe as a Christian, there are some challenges we do encounter, so when we face such challenges, we should just believe that there are other opportunities to come.

PC: Who inspires you in life?

Personality: My mother, because she always says, ‘it’s by the grace of GOD ’. She is a sickle cell patient but always feels strong and energetic.

P.C: What has been the transformation after giving your life to Christ?

Personality: I was very shy and I would not even involve myself in any church activity but after I gave my life to Christ, I was able to stand before congregants to deliver a message especially when I became an executive of PENSA back in SHS.

P.C: What do you do to remedy inconsistency in your Christian life?

Personality: When I fall in my Christian walk, I pray for forgiveness of sins and I move on.

P.C: What is your favourite food?

Personality: Fufu and banku.

P.C: What are your hobbies?

Personality: Watching movies and sometimes spending time with friends. The best movie I have enjoyed is “The originals”, it’s about a family of vampires and how they are united.

P.C: Have you been grabbed?

Personality: I was grabbed but I broke up with him because the relationship was affecting my Christian life so I quit so that I serve God well.

P.C: What are the qualities you are expecting to see in your future husband?

Personality: The love must be there, he should be a Christian, someone who understands me, humble and trustworthy. I also want a thick tall person.

P.C: Do you have a testimony to share?

Personality: While in SHS I was ill so I went for a checkup and I was told I had to undergo a surgery for them to detect whether it’s a cancer or not. I was really scared because the lumps were a lot so the doctors were even saying it could be a cancer. It all happened during WASSCE time so I wrote the exams with divided attention but I didn’t go for the surgery at the time I was suppose to. In first year, first semester, I decided to do the surgery and I prayed to God that the result should be positive, that I do not want any cancer. When I went for the result, all the health officers were surprised and they said the grace of God is with me because they have found out that it is not cancer. I went for a review and since then I have not had any complications so I am so much grateful to God for that.

P.C: What change would you like to see in Pensa-Knust?

Personality: I think the Kingspraise should be given more chance to minister during church service and more contemporary songs must be encouraged. Members must be given the chance to share their testimonies during church service because people are mostly moved by others’ testimonies so if that is encouraged, I think it can help a lot.

P.C: “Once saved forever saved” what is your take on that?

Personality: It is not true because we are asked to work on our salvation which means we can lose our salvation if we do not protect it. The fact that you have given your life to Christ does not mean your salvation is secured; there are more things to be done.

P.C: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

Personality: I will be in the law school.

P.C: What is your advice to the youths?

Personality: As the motto for the youth is “Arise and shine”, “Remember your creator” should be the guide for the youth since we are to do the work of our Lord Jesus Christ at this age that we are full of energy because when we grow old, we cannot do the work.

P.C: What is your prayer request?

Personality: I want the church to remember my family in prayers because things are not going on well in the family.

PC: Thank you for your time

Personality: You are always welcome.

God bless you for Reading!!!
