PC: Please give a brief introduction about yourself?
Personality: My name is Louisa Agyekumwaa Preko, a second year BSc. Environmental Science student from a family of eight including my parents. I hail from Kwahu Abetifi in the Eastern part of Ghana but live at Nkwakwa also a suburb in the Eastern region. I’m the last born of six children.
PC: Can you trace us through your educational background?
Personality: I had my basic and J.H.S education at Abetifi DA and St. Anthony’s respectively, then continued to Accra Girls Senior High School then finally in KNUST.
PC: So how was life back in Accra Girls?
Personality: Hmm, it was really cool for me, even though Accra Girls wasn’t part of the schools I selected. So initially, I wasn’t very happy but eventually I overcame it. I was the very obedient and law abiding student back in high school. I never received any punishment from a senior or a prefect.
PC: When given the opportunity to go back to any High School, will you go back to your alma mater?
Personality: Not really, as I said initially that it wasn’t part of my lists of school. So I will go back to my dream school that is Aburi Girls.
PC: Has the single sex school had any influence on you in terms of your relationship with guys?
Personality: Oh not at all, interestingly, I even relate more with males than my colleague females.
PC: What influence your choice of choosing KNUST?
Personality: Woow, unlike Accra Girls which wasn’t my dream Senior high school but I had it, KNUST was actually my dream school, so I was very excited when I received the message that, I have gained admission. So I came to KNUST because my siblings have been here before and I also had the opportunity to visit the school for an excursion. I loved the school when I came here.
PC: Two years on campus and still counting, how has life been?
Personality: So far so good. I will say I haven’t regretted coming to KNUST.
PC: What do you say about PENSA-KNUST?
Personality. A big united family.
PC: Which Committee have you found yourself in and why?
Personality: Bible Study, because I want to get more insight of the word.
PC: Perfecting Holiness and Standing Firm in Christ is the theme and focus for PENSA-KNUST respectively, what is your take on this and have they impacted you personally?
Personally: I believe as Christians, we ought to stand firm on anything we do, definitely the troubles will come but we have to really stand firm and perfecting holiness, it is a must for a every Christian to be holy because the one we are following is holy.
PC: Among the lot of characters in the bible, which of them is your favorite?
Personality: Paul. In simple word he is determined.
PC: What is your favorite bible verse in the bible?
Personality: Jeremiah 29:11. Because, this particular verse always reminds me that God always has good thoughts about me, so I shouldn’t worry.
PC: Now to social life, do you enjoy any sporting activity?
Personality: Not really but I used to play football back in High School but not now. I also support Chelsea even though I hardly watch their matches.
PC: Aside watching football which is very little, what else do you do during your leisure?
Personality: I love reading as well and chatting with friends.
PC: This is one of the few questions which most readers are keen to know. Are you in any relationship?
PC: So what made you accept his proposal?
Personality: Well, just because I love him.
PC: What is your favorite color and food?
Personality: I like Black and really like Banku with Groundnut Soup.
PC: What keeps you moving in life?
Personality: Bishop Dag Heward Mills and the Bible, they really inspire me.
PC: Can you share with us, your vision and mission in life?
Personality: My vision is to become a great person in life and my mission is that am working towards that to achieve it
PC: Any testimony to share?
Personality: Yes a lot of them but will share one, In first year during the long vacation, for the whole three months, I felt sick. In fact it was so severe that, I told my parents that I will die, all my eyes became white, and my skin became very black. It was malaria, Ulcer, and other sickness. But by the grace of God I was healed.
PC: What is your take on Christianity and fashion?
Personality: I believe fashion really depends on the individual, but as a Christian what I will say is, we should dress decently.
PC: Many people who see you from a far, have different perception about you, can you really tell them who you are?
Personality: hahaha, I must say I’m very friendly and socialable, so any body at all can approach me at any time and because I always mingle with boys, many people think I love boys but that is perceptual error
PC: Where do you want to see yourself in the next five years?
Personality: By then I should have completed with my Masters and Phd programs.
PC: Do you have any advice for the youth?
Personality. My only advice is that, if they joke with God, God will also joke with them.
PC: Any prayer topic you want the church to pray about for?
Personality: I want the church to pray for me for more strength to carry on.
