Welcome to the personality show where we bring your way great people of God, as part of our duties we bring to you a lovely pearl from the Evangelism Committee. Meet Miss. Jennifer Agamlo. Please relax, read and enjoy what he has to share with us.
PC: Please can you introduce yourself to us?
Personality: I’m Jennifer Agamlo a fifth year Pharmacy student and also a very quiet person. I come from Ada in the Greater Accra region. I’m from a family of five and also the last born, as well as the only female.
PC: Please take us through your educational background?
Personality: With regards to my basic and primary, I actually changed a lot of schools but I had my senior high education at Aburi Girls in the eastern part of Ghana and finally I’m here in KNUST. Life back in high school was cool for me. I tried my very best to avoid punishment from my seniors besides I was a very cool person so hardly did I get punished. I was a proud member of the science club.
PC: Why KNUST but not any other tertiary institution?
Personality: I wanted to move away from Accra because I had stayed in Accra throughout my childhood.
PC: How do you see KNUST with regards to your program of study?
Personality: My first choice was Medicine but it wasn’t actually what I wanted to do, because I didn’t want to stress myself with regards to the work I will end up doing. But I really thank God for giving me pharmacy. And sincerely speaking I love it.
PC: How do you see PENSA-KNUST?
Personality: It is a very big family but I believe if you don’t join any committee, you wouldn’t feel the impact of this wonderful church.
PC: Which committee do you belong to and why?
Personality: Evangelism committee, this is because it has always being my desire to let people know of the Gospel of Jesus.
PC: What is your take on dating on campus?
Personality: I believe there is nothing wrong with that, but the motive behind it is what matters.
PC: Who is your favorite bible character?
Personality: Daniel, I draw a lot of inspirations from this gentleman, his character, the wisdom he displays in his actions.
PC: When and how were you born again?
Personality: Actually I can’t really tell the time but I gave my life to Christ after watching a rapture movie, which was shown by a group of believers. After the movie ended they made an alter call and I willingly gave my life to Christ.
PC: Where do you take your inspiration from?
Personality: First, from the word of God and then from my loved ones.
PC: What is your greatest fear?
Personality: To date a lukewarm Christian, such a relationship will crawl fear into my heart.
PC: What do you do during your leisure?
Personality: I love cooking, playing ludo and also reading is something I don’t want to be taken away from me.
PC: Back to PENSA-KNUST, What is your take on this year’s theme and focus?
Personality: I believe that as a Christian, one key thing we ought to do in our life is to stand firm in Christ and we keep consistency by Perfecting Holiness. Holiness is core to our walk with God because He Himself said be ye Holy, for I am Holy.
PC: Do you have any walk word?
Personality: Yeah, with God all things are possible. I believe that, as a Christian, when God is at your side, whatever you do is possible. Nothing can limit the power of God.
PC: What will you like to change in PENSA-KNUST when given the opportunity?
Personality: It’s obvious from our conversation that I don’t like talking much, so keep my answer short. I will be glad if we improve on our closing time during service.
PC: What advice do you have for the youth?
Personality: We should have a conscious effort to study the word of God in order not to be deceived. And we should try as much as possible to engage ourselves in evangelism.
