Computer Committee!! Service to God Through IT
In this era, every job requires that employees be computer literate. Computer committee seeks to equip members of PENSA-KNUST with knowledge in computing through periodic training.
Members are trained on basic and advanced computer skills. We also soak ourselves in the things of God through our weekly prayer meetings and ‘share thy quiet time‘ before training. During ‘share thy quiet time’ members share with the whole committee their quiet time in any day of the week.
Some of the things taught at computer committee include website development, desktop publishing, data analysis with SPSS and MS-Excel, image editing with Photoshop, database management, etc. These trainings are offered to members in order that they may be able to manage the group’s website and database, design brochures and posters, etc. So at the end of the day, you get a practical experience of whatever is taught.
These skills, when acquired, can go a long way to help members create businesses of their own and monetize the knowledge they acquire. The only basic requirement you need to be part of computer committee is to be passionate about technology.
You must also be ready to learn more.
We meet on Tuesdays, 6:30pm at Paa Joe to pray and study the word and on Saturdays, 1pm at Africa Hall Chapel.
