ALUMNI IN FOCUS
LADY-CHA
TELL ABOUT YOURSELF.
Lady Cha: I’m Charity Asare-Peprah. I pursued a Bachelor’s
Degree in English from 2012 to 2015. I was a member of the
Music and Drama Committee. God graced me with the opportunity
to serve PENSA from 1st year into 2nd year as the Africa Hall PENSA
Secretary, the Ladies’ Wing Secretary from 2nd year into 3rd year and
in my 3rd year into final year as the Ladies’ Wing President.
HOW HAS PENSA IMPACTED YOURSELF
Lady Cha: Through the various responsibilities which God gave me
in PENSA, I have learnt what it is to be selfless. I will never forget the
countless moments of insightful and influential word ministrations
from great Spiritual figures which have impacted my life. I met a great
number of people in PENSA who challenged me to have genuine care
for people no matter their caliber. Again, I met many of my mentors in
the PENSA cycle. One other striking thing is how God miraculously
appoints the leaders of His church year after year as the congregation
trusts Him to do so. Some basic things to know as a lady and some
domestic skills.
LIFE AFTER SCHOOL
Lady Cha: I must say life after school has never been the same as being in school. The feeling
is quite different because society perceives you as mature to an extent and demands certain
behavioural patterns of you. Certain incentives depreciate as a matter of not being a student
anymore and my case is not different. That natural external motivation for a personal devotion
and service to God is sometimes scarce outside school but I thank God for the foundation
that has been laid in my life to love and serve Him. I am pressing on and l do believe His
strength will enable me to keep building a life for His Glory
VIEW ON MARRIAGE AND FINDING THE RIGHT PARTNER
Lady Cha: I am not married but I believe marriage is supposed to be a source of great blessing
for mankind as it has been instituted by God. I know there are diverse views on how to find a
life partner but I believe that God associates a particular woman to a man and vice versa at a
specific time. I don’t think that any godly man can marry any godly woman; not every good
person is the right person to marry. I think marriage is too risky a venture not to be convicted
about whom one would want to settle with. The story of Eliezer finding a wife for Isaac as
instructed by Abraham in Genesis 29 to me of much essence. God directs our path when we
genuinely seek his face in all things. Jer. 29:13 and Prov. 3:5.
EXPECTATION FOR PENSA AND YOUR LAST WORDS
Lady Cha: PENSA has been a light to the campus environment and as a matter of fact, the
spirituality on campus is directly linked to the spiritual maturity of PENSA members. We
are supposed to be the light that draws others to Christ. I believe the efficient way to achieve
this is the demonstration of a Christ like character with power. I expect PENSA to groom
our members to develop a close personal relationship with God in order to live lives that will
serve as an epistle for others to read and follow suit.
